Origins
Why We Started

A Threat Turned Into Opportunity

The water hyacinth. Once considered a mere weed, aggressively choking our vibrant waterways and severely disrupting local aquatic ecosystems.

Where others saw an environmental crisis, we recognized an untapped potential. A chance to harvest not just a plant, but hope, sustainability, and a new economic lifeline.

02 / The Problem in India

An invasive weed.
A silent crisis.

Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), locally known as "Jalkumbhi" or the "Terror of Bengal", aggressively chokes rivers, wetlands, and lakes across Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, and 20+ Indian states.
